Payment Methods

Credit/debit cards

You can use your credit/debit card to pay directly on www.vola.ro (your information is safe, we use the most advanced encryption technologies available on the market) or via a payment link sent by our consultants after you have made your booking. The travel documents and invoice will be emailed to you after we process your payment.

Payment in installments

We accept online payment in 2 or 3 installments through Credit Europe Bank, Star BT, Bonus Card Garanti, Alpha Bank and BRD Finance. After the payment is processed, the fiscal and travel documents are sent to the email address entered in the reservation.

Bitcoin

The payment is made on the www.vola.ro website, while making the reservation. After selecting this type of payment you will be transferred to the online payment processing page, where you can pay with Bitcoin. After the payment is processed, the fiscal and travel documents are sent to the address email entered in the reservation.

Up to which date do I need to make the payment?

When booking with us (either online or via our call center), you will be provided with a last ticketing date. We will not be able to issue your e-tickets and travel documents if we have not confirmed your payment in our account by this date. If payment is not made by the last ticketing date, your booking will be cancelled automatically.

IMPORTANT: In some cases, the last ticketing date provided to you may be changed by the airline. In such rare cases, we will contact you immediately so you can make payment on time.

In what currency do I pay?

You can pay directly in EURO. The payment amount is detailed in the confirmation email in the "Pricing details" section. The payment can be also made in RON, but in this case we will apply a currency risk commission of up to 4%.

For payments made by card, you have the option to choose what currency trading you want to use. We recommend you to choose the trading currency in which the card is issued.

Example:

• If you have a EURO card, it is recommended to run all tradings in EUR. If you choose RON, the issuing bank will calculate the RON exchange rate from the bank.
• If you have a RON card RON, it is recommended to run all tradings in RON. In this case, the conversion is based on the price in EUR Vola.ro displayed on the site multiplied by the exchange rate of pay + up to 4% currency risk commission. If however you want to choose a card EUR and RON, then issuing bank will convert or exchange the course that usually is higher than the BNR + up to 4%.
